Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation

Press release

from Grandmaster John St. James - Founder and President

It is with great joy that I announce the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Foundation's latest grant award for $1,000 dollars to Mr. and Mrs. Gauna of West Texas Karate North at the Maggie Trejo Supercenter; 3200 Amherst St Lubbock, TX 79415.

West Texas North offers a non-profit/non-pay Tang Soo Do program to the children and teens of Maggie Trejo Supercenter. The primary mission of West Texas North is to keep at-risk children off the streets and bring them in to a safe environment that teaches the values and benefits of traditional Tang Soo Do. The program offers discipline, fitness, self-esteem, and leadership training.

The Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Foundation is a Non-Profit (501C3) organization centered on serving the community and dedicated to sharing how the martial arts and Tang Soo Do in particular can change lives for the better of disadvantaged students. The APTSD Foundation currently has five at-risk programs and is growing daily. Current location are Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Texas.
