It is with great joy that I announce the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Foundation's additional grant award for $1,050 dollars to Sister Kathleen Navarra, Sa Bom Nim who is chief instructor of V-Town Family Karate in Vredenburgh, Alabama.

V-Town Family Karate began September 2010 with 2 students and has continued to grow. The program serves at-risk children in a very disadvantaged area in the southern part of Alabama. No tuition is charged . This grant is to defray costs involved in the first ever APTSDF at-risk Leadership Camp being held in Birmingham, AL.

The Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Foundation is a Non-Profit (501C3) organization centered on serving the community and dedicated to sharing how the martial arts and Tang Soo Do in particular can change lives for the better no matter the background or status of an individual.
